Sie klingen lebendig, durchzeichnet, produzieren räumliche Tiefe, ihr Klangbild ist unaufdringlich angenehm, und im Hinblick auf die entwickelte Dynamik scheinen sie keinerlei Einschränkungen zu kennen. In einer systematisch-theoretischen Untersuchung geht der Autor den Ursachen dieser Kennzeichen nach. Die Kopplung zwischen Endröhren und Ausgangsübertragern wird mit der erforderlichen Tiefe dargestellt. Die formulierten Stabilitätsbedingungen müssen moderne, hochwertige Verstärker mindestens erfüllen. Besonders hervorzuheben an diesem Buch ist, dass es sich nicht allein auf die Darstellung technisch nackter Fakten beschränkt. Der Autor versteht es gleichermaßen spannend und anschaulich zu berichten, dass das Entwickeln von Röhrenverstärkern durchaus in unser alltägliches Dasein eingreifen kann. Ja, selbst der Nutzen von Patenten wird angesprochen. Neue Theorien und neue Lösungen für eine perfekte Audioqualität mit Röhrenverstärkern sind Gegenstand dieses Buches. Sowohl der ambitionierte Selbstbauer, als auch derjenige, der seine Kenntnisse und Einsichten in die Zusammenhänge vertiefen möchte, wird dieses Buch mit Gewinn zur Hand nehmen.
